2025年复旦生命科学暑期学校于723日到86日在复旦大学江湾校区举行。暑期学校以“AI时代的生命科学”为主题,聚焦遗传学、RNA生物学、神经科学、肿瘤学、免疫学等生命科学的核心领域,并融合AI、大数据的学科热点,国际暑期学校设计了遗传与发育生物学、进化与生物大数据两个课程模块。

暑期学校邀请了来自世界各地的24位在生命科学前沿领域工作的世界顶尖学者,其中包括10位美国科学院院士、美国艺术与科学院院士、欧洲科学院院士以及中国科学院院士,全英文集中讲授相关领域的前沿和热点。

暑期学校招收了117名中国学生和12名留学生。这些学生来自103所大学和机构,27个专业,其中包括加拿大多伦多大学、新加坡国立大学等世界知名大学。

为了促进学生之间的学术交流,两个模块分别在731日和86日组织了学生研讨会(口头报告和学术海报),共27人次获得了奖学金。

728日组织了文化参观活动,部分学生参观了自然博物馆、外滩、南京东路步行街和广富林文化遗址公园,多样的文化体验让远道而来的同学们在紧张的学术学习之余,深度感受了上海的城市魅力与江南地区的深厚文化底蕴。

The 2025 international summer school was held from July 23 to August 6 at Fudan University’s Jiangwan Campus. Themed “Life Sciences in the Age of AI,” the program focused on core disciplines—including genetics, RNA biology, neuroscience, oncology, and immunology—while integrating cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence and big data. To reflect this interdisciplinary vision, the summer school offered two dedicated curriculum modules: Genetics and Developmental Biology, and Evolution and Biological Big Data.

The program invited 24 world-renowned scholars actively engaged in frontier research across life sciences—from institutions worldwide. Among them were 10 members of prestigious academies, including the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Academia Europaea, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. All lectures were delivered in English and centered on the latest advances and emerging trends in their respective fields.

A total of 117 students from mainland China and 12 international students participated. They represented 103 universities and research institutions—and 27 distinct academic disciplines—including top-tier global institutions such as the University of Toronto (Canada) and the National University of Singapore.

To foster peer-to-peer academic exchange, student symposium—featuring oral presentations and poster sessions—were organized on July 31 (for Module I) and August 6 (for Module II). A total of 27 students received merit-based scholarships for their outstanding contributions.

On July 28, a cultural excursion was arranged. Participants visited Shanghai’s Natural History Museum, the Bund, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and the Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park. These diverse experiences enabled students—many traveling from afar—to unwind from intensive academic work while immersing themselves in Shanghai’s dynamic urban vitality and the profound cultural heritage of the Jiangnan region.
